How Does This Treatment Work?
With age, research shows that lashes become thinner, shorter and straighter but now there’s a solution!
The main ingredient, bimatoprost, extends the growth phase (anagen phase) of your eyelashes. This phase is when lashes grow. By lengthening this phase, your lashes have more time to grow longer and fuller before moving to the next phase of their growth cycle.
How Long Does it Take to See Results?
You can expect to start seeing results from this treatment after about 60 days. Full results are typically visible within three to four months.
It's important to note that the effects will gradually diminish a few months after you stop using the medication.
How to Use This Medication?
Using this medication is simple. Typically, you apply the medication to the upper lash line using a clean, sterile applicator brush. It's applied similarly to eyeliner. Clear instructions are provided with the bottle
When to Apply the Medication?
You can apply the medication either in the morning or at night. If applying in the evening, ensure your face is clean and allow the medication to dry for 30 minutes before lying down. This helps to prevent the medication from rubbing off.
Am I a Good Candidate for Latisse?
Good candidates for this treatment have healthy eyes and no active eye infections.
How Long Does One Bottle Last?
A 5ml bottle typically lasts between 4 to 8 months.
Each 5ml bottle contains 112 doses. During the initial phase, you will likely apply the medication daily for about 16 weeks (nearly four months). After this period, during the maintenance phase, the frequency of application may be reduced to every other day.
3ml bottles are available for maintenance of your lashes once you’ve achieved full growth at 16 weeks.
Can I Wear Mascara?
Yes, you can still wear mascara. Make sure the medication is completely dry before applying any cosmetics. Applying the medication at least 30 minutes before using eye makeup will help ensure it doesn’t get rubbed off.
